No changes were done on the Fortigate. According to the user not no changes on the remote user side network (same ISP, same router).

I have configured a L2TP VPN on Ubuntu server 11.04, and I can connect to it with a Mac client. But after connecting successfully to this L2TP VPN, my Mac cannot access the internet. To access the internet, I have to disconnect from the VPN. My local IP address on Mac is 192.168.1.105, after connecting to VPN, I use this IP: 10.1.2.2. I use your VPN (last version) for my PC with Win10-64 without problem. IN last time I sometime lost original internet about 1-3min. After I got internet your VPN can not reconnect and I lost VPN. How to solve above problem. This should force the command via the tun0 interface (your vpn tunnel). If this returns according to the right country (eg. Switzrland in your case) then the VPN tunnel is working, and you probably have a routing issue so need to look at IPTABLES configuration. But if it helps, this is the config I had for my vpn client on Rpi.
